KUWAIT, Dhu Al-Hijjah 25, 1431, Dec 01, 2010, SPA -- The consulate departments of Kuwait and Egypt have agreed on easing procedures of the citizens of the two countries, related to labor, judicial affairs, health and residency. The agreement was made at the conclusion of the meeting of the Kuwaiti-Egyptian joint consulate committee, which was held here late on Tuesday. Director of the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry's Consulate Department Ambassador Homoud Al-Roudhan and Egypt's Assistant Foreign Minister for consulate affairs and the affairs of refugees and Egyptians abroad, Ambassador Mohammad Abdulhakam, signed the meeting's minutes. Abdulhakam conveyed congratulations to the leadership, government, and people of Kuwait on the 50th anniversary of independence and the 20th liberation day. He told KUNA that the joint committee reflected on the strong Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations, stressing on the strong ties between Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.
