Al-Atiyyah: Abu Dhabi Summit will Serve as a Turning Point in GCC Drive

Abu Dhabi, Dhu Al-Hijjah 29, 1431, Dec 05, 2010 (SPA) -- The GCC (The Cooperation Council For the Arab States of the Gulf) leaders will gather here on December 06-07, 2010 for their 31st summit under the chairmanship of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Abu Dhabi is hosting the leaders as the group completed three decades of qualitative achievements towards the path of full-fledged coordination, cooperation and integration, according to a report circulated by the UAE news agency "WAM." Speaking about this momentous event, GCC Secretary General Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Atiyyah, described the Abu Dhabi Summit as a turning point in the GCC joint action in all domains.
