BAGHDAD, July 04, 2010, SPA -- A local Iraqi official says a female suicide bomber killed four people and wounded 23 in an attack on a government building in the western Anbar province. Aeefan Sadoun says the attacker detonated explosives strapped on her body in the reception room of the provincial government headquarters in Ramadi, 70 miles (115 kilometers) west of Baghdad, according to a report of the Associated Press. Police say several people waited to see the governor, who was away, when the bomb went off on Sunday. Police in northern Iraq shot a suspected suicide bomber near a local government headquarters.
