Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, July 04, 2010, SPA -- General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received yesterday at Al Bateen Palace the Lebanese Prime Minister, Saad Al Hariri, who is currently visiting the country. During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed and Al Hariri discussed the latest regional and international developments and positions of the two countries towards them. They also reviewed the efforts being exerted to realize peace in the region, stressing that there will be no peace nor security without reaching a just and a permanent solution to the Palestinian issue based on the agreed international peace efforts, especially the Arab Peace Initiative. The meeting tackled bolstering of fraternal relations between the UAE and Lebanon and helping of the Lebanese people to deal with the challenges that hamper development, security and stability in Lebanon. Sheikh Mohammed wished the Lebanese government and people under Al Hariri leadership greater success and prosperity, according to a report of the UAE news agency "WAM."
