KABUL, August 17, SPA -- An American civilian working alongside U.S. troops in eastern Afghanistan has been killed in aninsurgent attack, The Associated Press reported. A statement Monday from NATO's International SecurityAssistance Force did not provide any other details aboutthe victim or the location of the attack.
