Beijing, March 23, 2010, SPA -- China and the U.S. will hold high-level talks in late May, Beijing said Tuesday. The twice-yearly Strategic and Economic Dialogue began as a forum for the two sides to discuss business matters, but both are seeking to expand the discussion onto other topics, according to a report of the Associated Press. U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner will lead the U.S. delegation to the talks in late May, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said. China will be represented by Vice Premier Wang Qishan and State Councilor Dai Bingguo.
