Washington, Sept 21, SPA --The top U.S. commander in Afghanistan says in a confidential assessment of the war thatwithout additional forces the mission "will likely result infailure," Reuters quoted the Washington Post as reporting today. The assessment is contained in a copy of the 66-pagedocument obtained by The Washington Post, the newspaper said.
