TEHRAN, June 15 (SPA) - Iran's top legislative body, theGuardian Council, said on Monday it had received two officialcomplaints from defeated presidential candidates and would issueits ruling within 10 days, Reuters reported. A spokesman for the council, which must formally approve theelection results for the outcome to stand, said it had receivedappeals from former prime minister Mirhossein Mousaviand former head of the Revolutionary Guards, Mohsen Rezaie. Mousavi said on Sunday he had urged the council to annul theresult of Friday's election, in which incumbent MahmoudAhmadinejad won a resounding victory. "After reviewing their complaints, the result will beannounced to the candidates," the ISNA news agency quotedGuardian Council spokesman Abbasali Kadkhodai as saying. "Mousavi and Rezaie appealed yesterday.
