TEHRAN, August 30 (SPA) - Iran's parliament began athree-day session on Sunday to debate and vote on PresidentMahmoud Ahmadinejad's proposed new 21-member cabinet following his re-election in June, Reuters reported. The president, presenting his new government and its plannedpolicies to parliament, told MPs he planned "important stepsforward" during his second four-year term. "In the new government we are prepared to serve people withall our might ... and I'm certain parliament is going to supportus," he said in comments translated by Iran's English-languagePress TV. In its foreign policy, he said Iran "should haveconstructive interaction with all nations and countries with theexception of the illegal Zionist entity", referring to Israel. Ahmadinejad's proposed cabinet line-up includes three women,for the posts of education, health and social welfare.
