BAGHDAD, June 02, SPA -- The U.S. military says 44 suspected insurgents have been detained during a joint American-Iraqi operation north of Baghdad. A statement released Tuesday says the suspects weredetained Sunday in Kirkuk by U.S. soldiers and Iraqipolice.
