Russia says it's ready to move forward on NATO ties

MOSCOW, May 08, SPA -- Russia's envoy to NATO said onFriday Moscow was ready to go ahead with restoring ties with thealliance despite tit-for-tat expulsions of diplomats andcontroversial military exercises in Georgia, Reuters reported. Dmitry Rogozin suggested the expulsions of two Russians fromBrussels and two alliance officials from Moscow, along with theNATO exercises, could be part of a plot to sabotage U.S. President Barack Obama's policy of improving relations. "It is time to put a full stop in this story and restorerelations as soon as possible," Rogozin said from Brusselsduring a video link with Moscow journalists.
