Jeddah The two sides exchanged views on various regional and international issues, especially the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the future of the peace process. The official talks also included the situation in Afghanistan and the ongoing peace process in Mindanao. For his part, Prof. Ihsanoglu welcomed the Australian Foreign Minister and expressed the OIC's desire and readiness to expand cooperation with Australia in different fields, particularly through joint projects in the fields of dialogue, alliance of civilizations, and socio-economic development and humanitarian projects in the least developed OIC Member States.
