Cairo, August 05, SPA -- The Arab league has condemned the Israeli police eviction of two Palestinian families in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in East Jerusalem. In a statement issued here last night, the League urged the UN Security Council and the International Quartet to put an end to the dangerous Israeli policies that aim at Judaizing Jerusalem, increasing settlement activities and deliberately aborting the peace process. It also condemned a decision of the Israeli court which supported the eviction order, adding the decision was part of Israel's plans to evacuate the city of its Arab inhabitants, the statement was quoted as saying by The Qatar News Agency (QNA).--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/690303
