ANKARA, Turkey, June 09, SPA -- A Turkish official says there has been an explosion at a munitions factory near the Turkishcapital but it has caused no deaths. Ejder Saricicek, local governor of the town of Elmadagnear the capital Ankara, says the blast occurred atRoketsan, a Turkish rocket and missile maker, on Tuesday. Saricicek says no one was killed in the explosion, whichhappened during disposal of rocket fuel. It is not immediately clear whether anyone has beeninjured. Private NTV television says the blast shattered windowsand caused cracks in some buildings at the factory, butthere was no fire as reported earlier.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/672799
