PRAGUE, April 05, SPA -- President Barack Obama has urged theEuropean Union to accept Turkey as a member, saying itwould be a positive sign to the Muslim world. Obama spoke Sunday at a luncheon for leaders of the EU's27 nations in Prague. He said the West should seek greatercooperation and closer ties with Islamic nations. He saidletting Turkey into the EU would be an important sign ofthose efforts, according to a report of Associated Press. Turkey's population is mostly Muslim.
