BEIRUT, August 23, SPA -- An Israeli reconnaissance plane violated Lebanese airspace, a statement by the Lebanese Armed Forces said on Sunday. The Israeli aircraft flew over villages in south Lebanon yesterday before returning to Israel this morning, it said. The Israeli planes often fly over Lebanese airspace in violation of UN resolution 1701.
