Amman, April 29, SPA -- A German State Premier, Juergen Ruettgers of North Rhine-Westphalia, met Tuesday with Jordan's King Abdullah II and Queen Rania to discuss improved cooperation between the two countries, the Jordanian royal court said. "The two sides also reviewed latest developments in the Middle East and efforts under way to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the basis of the two-sate formula," the statement said. Ruettgers met with Jordanian Prime Minister Nader Dahabi, who expressed his country's "keenness on boosting ties between Jordan and Germany in various spheres," a Jordanian statement said. Of special interest to Jordan in North Rhine-Westphalia are the renewable energy, water administration, transport and vocational and higher education sectors, according to a report of DPA.
