KABUL, April 08, SPA -- A NATO soldier was killed Wednesday insouthern Afghanistan, while a separate bomb blast woundedsix civilians on a road close to the military alliance'smain base in the region, Associated Press reported. NATO said in a statement that one of its soldiers waskilled Wednesday in a «hostile incident» in southernAfghanistan, but it did not provide the exact location ofthe incident or the nationality of the victim. Also Wednesday, a roadside blast hit a civilian vehiclesouth of Kandahar city, wounding six civilians, said thespokesman for Kandahar province's governor, Zalmai Ayubi.
