Riyadh, February 07, SPA -- Saudi newspapers shed light on a number of local, regional and international topics. They noted that the warning of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz at the economic summit of Kuwait in which he said the Arab peace initiative will not remain on the table for ever, has yielded positive results, and the new US administration has shown keenness on conducting negotiations about it. Noting that the Arab peace initiative which embodies the desire of the Arabs for reaching a peace that realizes stability in the region, needs the international attention and acceptance for it. The Turkish President's adoration and whole-hearted welcome for the initiative constitutes a new and solid support for it as Turkey is an important regional country. "This Turkish support to the initiative is a message to Washington that the initiative is not only supported at the level of the Arab arena but it is also supported at the Islamic arena. At the same time, it is a message to Israel which has been maintaining diplomatic relations with Turkey not to miss this chance which will enable Tel Aviv to lead a normal life in the region if it meets the articles enshrined in the initiative including the withdrawal to the borders of June 4, 1967 and other international resolutions pertaining to the conflict.--MORE www.spa.gov.sa/633277
