BEIRUT, December 26 (SPA) - A Syrian flag was raised onFriday over a building that will house the Syrian embassy inBeirut, another step towards the establishment of fulldiplomatic ties between Lebanon and Syria, Reuters reported. Three Syrian diplomats have been overseeing preparatory workat the building in Hamra street ahead of the official opening ofthe embassy. A placard identifying the building as the Syrianembassy was placed at the entrance and a Syrian flag flew above.
