KABUL, May 26, SPA -- Eight Taliban fighters are dead afterbattling U.S. coalition troops in southern Afghanistan. The coalition says two of its troops and three Afghanpolicemen were also wounded during Monday's clash in thesouthern province of Uruzgan. They were undergoing medicaltreatment and were in stable condition, the Associated Press reported.
