BAGHDAD, March 07, SPA -- Iraq's prime minister called Saturday foran end to the practice of distributing top government jobsalong religious and ethnic lines, saying the system leadsto weakness and mismanagement, Associated Press reported. Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki also renewed hiscall for changes in the 2005 constitution, which hebelieves restricts the power of the central government todeal with national problems after nearly six years of war. «There is a difference between sectarian distribution ofposts in the government and the principle of partnership,»al-Maliki told a conference of Iraqi tribal leaders.
