JERUSALEM, July 06 (SPA) - Israel was reopening someborder crossings with Gaza on Sunday, an official said, after itclosed them on Thursday following the launch of a rocket intothe Jewish state. Reopening the crossings will allow goods into the largelyblockaded territory and humanitarian cases into Israel formedical treatment. The rocket landed in an open area and did not cause anycasualties. Israeli official Peter Lerner said the Erez crossing, themain passage for people between Gaza and Israel, would be openedto allow Gazans in need of urgent medical attention travel intoIsrael. He said the Sufa crossing would be opened to allow goods andcement into the Gaza Strip, and the Nahal Oz fuel depot wouldalso be opened.
