Hidayat Ullah says militants bombed the bridge earlyTuesday in the Khyber Pass region. Much of the supplies for U.S. and NATO troops inlandlocked Afghanistan travel along the pass after beingunloaded at the Pakistani port of Karachi. Militants are increasingly attacking the route to squeezethe U.S-led mission in Afghanistan. It was not immediately clear whether supply convoys couldbypass the destroyed bridge and still reach Afghanistan, according to a report of Associated Press.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/632184
