BAGHDAD, November 02, SPA -- An adviser to Iraq's prime minister saysBaghdad expects Washington's reply on proposed changes to adraft security agreement after the U.S. elections, Associated Press reported. Yassin Majeed said on Sunday the U.S. will respond toIraq's amendments to the pact after Tuesday's elections sothe new president-elect can be informed of the status ofthe talks. U.S. and Iraqi officials are trying to hammer out a newsecurity agreement by the end of December that would keepU.S. troops in the country until 2011. U.S. military operations would have to stop if no newagreement is reached.
