SEOUL, Oct 1 (SPA) - North and South Korea will holdmilitary talks on Thursday in the first official meetingbetween the two states since South Korean President LeeMyung-bak took office in February, an official said onWednesday. A South Korean Defense Ministry official said colonels fromthe two sides will meet at the Panmunjom truce village on themilitary border. In a surprise move last week, the North proposed the talksand sought a meeting for Tuesday.
