ISLAMABAD, September 03, SPA -- Shots were fired at PakistaniPrime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani's motorcade near Islamabad'sairport on Wednesday but officials and police said he was notin it at the time. Reuters reported Senior police official Rao Mohammad Iqbal said themotorcade was on its way to the airport to pick Gilani up atthe time of the attack. "The car was going towards the airport when it was firedupon from a small hill ... two bullets hit the driver'swindow," Iqbal said. Earlier, the prime minister's spokesman, Zahid Bashir, saidshots were fired at Gilani's motorcade but he was not hurt. "Multiple shots were fired at the prime minister'smotorcade. The prime minister is safe, by the grace of God,"Bashir said.
