El-Arish, Egypt, January 13, SPA -- The Saudi Embassy in Egypt started here last night the coordination process with concerned Egyptian authorities to facilitate Saudi kind relief convoys entrance to Gaza. The First phase of Saudi land bridge started yesterday with 63 trucks loaded with food, tents and medical supplies as well as 30 ambulances to be accessed to Gaza via Egypt, said Hassan Al-Bohaire, the head of the Saudi Embassy team to SPA, adding that the role of the embassy in this regard is through coordination with the Egyptian authorities to facilitate the transit of this convoy, and to overcome all the obstacles they may encounter during their way to Gaza. The Saudi Ambassador in Cairo Hisham Nazir attaches great importance to Saudi relief in the coordination and follow-up with the Egyptian authorities in line with the directives of Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, The Interior Minister as well as the general supervisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques campaign for the relief of the Palestinian people in Gaza to quickly deliver Saudi in kind donations to Gazan, Al-Buhairi added.
