UNITED NATIONS, December 27, SPA -- The United Nations is working to establish a commission to investigate the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, whose death came one year ago Sunday. "The secretary-general is hopeful that, with the progression of the discussions, the commission could be established in the near future," said a statement issued by the office of Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. The U.N. Secretariat has been talking to members of the Security Council and Pakistan over the structure of such a panel, according to the statement quoted by CNN.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/619916
