COLOMBO, Sri Lanka, November 24, SPA -- A pro-rebel Web site reportsthat the Tamil Tiger insurgents have killed 43 Sri Lankansoldiers in a single fierce clash in the island's north. Pro-rebel TamilNet Web site quotes unnamed rebel officialsas saying that the soldiers were killed Sunday in a clashin Nalloor village of the rebel-held Kilinochchi district, according to a report of Associated Press. Lakshman Hulugalle, the chief of the government's securityinformation center, declined to comment, saying that thegovernment would not react to pro-rebel news reports.
