RAMALLAH, West Bank, November 07, SPA -- U.S. Secretary of StateCondoleezza Rice has arrived in the West Bank for talkswith Palestinian leaders on the fate of Israeli-Palestinianpeace talks. Rice says a year-end target date for an agreement is nolonger realistic. Israel holds elections in February, Associated Press reported. Rice and other leading Mideast mediators will meet Sundayin Egypt to hear from Israelis and Palestinians. However,Rice says negotiators won't go into substance. Meanwhile, Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu said Friday that hewould take a «new path to peace» if elected primeminister.
