Gaza, Palestine, December 29, SPA -- The Israeli army is preparing to launch a ground assault. A large force of tanks and other weapons of infantry in different areas in Israel started to move south to reinforce paratroopers deployed there for months, Israeli sources said. Israel Radio reported that an Israeli security source reported that units of reservists were called from the Home Front Command and other military commands. Yediot Aharonot, the Israeli newspaper quoted military sources as confirming that the current aggression there is a gradual and phased one, in addition to some other phases which are not resorted to by the army and kept in reserve for their execution later.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/620634
