Washington, September 24, SPA -- U.S. President George W. Bush called Tuesday for the world to unite against terrorism in his final address as U.S. leader before the United Nations General Assembly. “In the decades ahead, the United Nations and other multilateral organizations must continually confront terror,” Bush said. “Bringing the terrorists to justice does not create terrorism; it's the best way to protect our people.” “Like slavery and piracy, terrorism has no place in the modern world,” Bush added, praising the action taken by the U.N. and the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) to condemn terrorism. Bush said the “coalition of nations confronting terror is growing stronger.” --MORE www.spa.gov.sa/592936
