SEOUL, July 14, SPA -- South Korea said on Monday itwill recall its ambassador to Japan to protest against asovereignty claim made by Tokyo in an island dispute betweenthe Asian neighbours, REUTERS reported. South Korean officials said the Japanese government hadinformed Seoul that Tokyo would refer in school instructionguidelines to the islands, which it calls Takeshima, as part ofJapanese territory. South Korea, which calls the islands Dokdo, says that therocky islets are a part of its territory.
