Kazakh Ambassador expressed his deep appreciation of the Secretary General's approval to participate in the Forum. The Secretary General, for his part, welcomed the upcoming Forum which will benefit the Islamic world. The two officials also examined the preparations conducted by Kazakhstan to ensure the success of the Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of Islamic countries scheduled to be held in 2011. Ambassador Lama Sharif assured the Secretary General that Kazakhstan deploys all possible efforts to reinforce its cooperation with the OIC and the role it will play to boost understanding between the West and the Muslim world, especially during its Chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). --SPA www.spa.gov.sa/588909
