BAGHDAD, August 04, SPA -- The U.S. military said two Americansoldiers were killed and one was wounded by a roadside bombin Baghdad on Monday, while Iraqi officials reported thatat least nine Iraqis died in a series of bombings of Iraqisecurity forces. The deadliest attack was a roadside bombing against anIraqi police patrol vehicle in Mahaweel, about 60kilometers (35 miles) south of Baghdad that killed fourpolicemen and three civilian bystanders, according to Iraqipolice. The U.S. military said it could not immediately confirmthat attack.
