Canberra, June 30, SPA -- Hasan Tal'at Nazir, the Saudi Ambassador to Australia met here today with Australian Foreign Minister Stephen Smith. During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of mutual interest. The talks also covered the topics of the Saudi Cultural Attaché office and its personnel. On his part, the Foreign Minister announced the Australian government's decision to treat all the staff members of the Saudi cultural attaché as diplomatic personnel as part of the diplomatic mission of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Canberra.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/569709
