ISLAMABAD, JAN 24, SPA The Scotland Yard team has got hold of 18 major clues in former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto s assassination case and would report to the government of Pakistan before elections, Caretaker Interior Minister Lt-Gen (retd) Hamid Nawaz said. He told the reporters that the proof has been found against Baitullah Mehsud in connection with the assassination and that operation is being carried out against him. The minister said in the valley of Swat and other sensitive areas, local Taliban factor has been controlled and now only few groups are active. Nawaz said the nuclear assets are totally safe and there is no danger in this regard. He said foolproof security arrangements have been made and the Army, police and rangers will also be called in for help during the Feb 18 parliamentary elections.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/520665
