PARIS, February 08, SPA -- President Nicolas Sarkozy on Friday pledged more police and major investments for neglected housingprojects nationwide in a plan for neighborhoods thatexploded in riots in 2005 and late last year. Sarkozy unveiled the much-awaited, far-reaching plan forreinvigorating isolated suburban housing projects andbetter integrating their youths.
