Washington, February 08, SPA -- U.S. President George W. Bush is set to host President Amadou Toumani Touré of the Republic of Mali at the White House this month, the White House announced on Thursday. Touré’s visit, which was delayed because of Bush’s trip to Tennessee on Friday to assess tornado damage to the state, is now scheduled for February 12, 2008. During the visit, Bush will “get a progress update from President Touré on key U.S. initiatives including the President’s [Bush’s] Malaria Initiative, the President’s International Education Initiative, and the Millennium Challenge Account,” the White House press office said. --SPA www.spa.gov.sa/525179
