BANGKOK, February 06, SPA -- Thailand's King BhumibolAdulyadej endorsed the Cabinet nominations of new PrimeMinister Samak Sundaravej on Wednesday, paving the way forhis government to take office. The official announcement of the king's action was made ontelevision, which also showed Samak in ceremonial uniformpresenting the list for the monarch's approval. Samak leads a six-party coalition government, formed afterhis People's Power Party won the most parliamentary seatsin a December general election.
