BANGKOK, Thailand, September 16, SPA -- Thailand's ruling People's PowerParty has reconciled with a renegade faction and agreed tonominate Somchai Wongsawat to become prime minister. Party spokesman Kuthep Saikrajang said Tuesday that afaction of 73 lawmakers dropped their objection to backingSomchai, who became acting prime minister last week after acourt forced Samak Sundaravej to step down.
