PRAGUE, Czech Republic, July 08, SPA -- U.S. Secretary of StateCondoleezza Rice has all but ruled out a stop in Polandthis week to finalize plans for a U.S. missile defenseshield in Europe. Rice is signing a preliminary agreement with the CzechRepublic on Tuesday for part of that planned system. Rice says she met Poland's Minister of Foreign Affairs Radoslaw Sikorskiin Washington just before she left. That meeting was a negotiatingsession over Poland's request for millions of dollars inadditional U.S. military aid, according to a report of the Associated Press.
