Damascus, April 14, SPA -- Iraq's neighboring countries discussed on Monday the current security situation in Iraq and the requirements to maintain stability in the country during the closing of their second annual meeting in Syria. Representatives of the United Nations Security Council and representatives of the Organization of Islamic Conference also participated in the meeting of Iraq's neighboring countries, the German news agency "DPA" reported. In the final resolution issued in the closing session of theConference, Iraq's neighboring states stressed the importance oftightening the borders with Iraq, stating that previous cooperationto fight terrorism led to significant security improvements in thecountry.
