Tel Aviv, March 26, SPA -- Defense Minister Ehud Barak has agreed to let a group of Jewish settlers who once lived in the GazaStrip to move in to mobile homes in the West Bank. This is in violation of Israel's pledge not to resettleevacuated Gaza families in the West Bank. In a letter obtained by The Associated Press on Wednesday,Barak approved the transfer of five trailers to the TenehOmarim settlement. This is not the first time Gaza settlers have relocated tothe West Bank. Several dozen resettled in Ariel, a majorsettlement, and in Maskiot, despite a government decisionlast year to freeze plans to build a settlement there.
