ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, January 27, SPA -- At least eight people died andseven were injured when a three-floor building inRawalpindi collapsed Sunday morning after fireworks storedon the ground floor exploded, police said. A dozen residents remained trapped inside the remains ofthe building but rescue teams had recovered the dead andinjured from the rubble, said Rawalpindi police chief SaudAziz. «The building collapsed in the wake of explosions ofillegally stored fireworks,» he said.
