Barcelona, Oct 7, SPA -- Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, the President of the administration of meteorology and environmental protection, led the Saudi delegation participating in the general assembly of the international union for conservation of nature (IUCN) currently in progress here. The activities of the meeting include observation of the 60th anniversary for the establishment of the IUCN. Prince Turki participated Prince Philip, the Spanish Crown Prince, in the inauguration of the activities. Meanwhile, Prince Turki received representatives of the Arab children participating in the sailing journey to Barcelona accompanied by the journey's supervisor general Dr Asaad Sirhal, from IUCN, and the journey's coordinator Ret. Major General Dr Mohammed al-Juhani. It is worth mentioning that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has undertaken the idea of the sailing program to Barcelona for the Arab countries. The journey includes children from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan Lebanon and Tunisia. Prince Turk chaired the first meeting for the dialogue of the ministers, senior officials and personalities on the most important successful experiences.
