KANDAHAR, Sept 7, SPA -- Two suicide attackersdetonated their bombs inside the police headquarters inAfghanistan's second-largest city Sunday, killing sixpolicemen, AP quoted officials as saying. The two bombers attacked Gen. Abdul Raziq, a border policecommander, two police officers at the scene in Kandaharsaid. One high-ranking officer, who asked not to beidentified because he wasn't authorized to speak to themedia, said six police were killed and 13 others wounded,including Raziq. Canadian troops and Afghan soldiers surrounded the policeheadquarters shortly after the explosions. Kandahar is the Taliban's former stronghold.
