BEIJING, May 28, SPA -- A news report says the death toll fromtorrential rains that hit southern China has risen to 50. The official Xinhua News Agency said Wednesday that rainsare predicted to continue for the next three days. Xinhua says 36 people have died in flash floods insouthern Guizhou province since Sunday.
