MOGADISHU, Somalia, June 01, SPA -- Somali officials say insurgents fired mortars at the Mogadishu airport as aplane carrying President Abdullahi Yusuf was about to takeoff. Yusuf was unharmed although two people were slightlyinjured, they say. Associated Press quoted Presidential spokesman Hussein Mohamed Mohamud as saying that Sunday's attack was not an assassination attempt. The insurgents «tried to disrupt the president's departure to Djibouti but they failed. » The U.N.
